A Different Approach

Don’t guess.
Assess.

You wouldn’t run your business on guesswork, so why run your
body on it?

High Performance at Live Active Chiropractic is not another
generic exercise session. It begins with understanding your
health, lifestyle, physical capacity and what you actually
want your body to be capable of.

We combine a detailed assessment with objective performance
testing and individual goal setting. Your results are then used
to develop a structured program focused on the areas that matter
to you — and nothing that doesn’t.

Built Around You

High standards at work.
The same standard for your health.

High Performance is particularly suited to busy professionals
who want a structured, efficient and measurable approach to
improving their physical health and performance.

Time Efficient

Your program focuses on what your assessment identifies as
important rather than filling sessions with unnecessary work.

Objective

Performance testing provides objective information that can
be used alongside your clinical assessment and goals.

Personalised

Your program is developed around your current capacity,
lifestyle, health history and individual goals.

Measurable

Testing and reassessment allow progress to be measured rather
than relying only on how you feel.

Your Starting Point

The High Performance Initial

Your first appointment is about understanding the complete
picture before prescribing the solution.

Your chiropractor takes the time to understand where you are
now, where you want to be and the factors that may influence
your physical health and performance.

✓   Comprehensive medical history
✓   Exercise and training history
✓   Lifestyle and psychosocial factors
✓   Individual goal setting
✓   Movement and physical assessment
✓   Objective VALD performance testing

Objective Performance Data

Measure what your body can actually do.

Your assessment incorporates VALD performance technology to
provide objective information about your physical performance.

Instead of relying solely on observation or how an exercise
feels, objective testing gives your practitioner measurable
information that can help identify areas to work on and establish
a baseline for future comparison.

When appropriate, testing can be repeated throughout your
program so changes in physical performance can be tracked
against your original results and individual goals.

Your High Performance Journey

Assess first.
Build the plan second.

We deliberately separate the assessment from the recommendations
so your program can be developed after your results have been
properly reviewed.

01

Initial Consultation

Understand the complete picture.

Your initial consultation is completed with Jack and includes
your history, goals, physical assessment and performance
testing. Rather than rushing into a recommendation, the
information collected is reviewed before your program is
prescribed.

02

24-Hour Follow-Up

We check in with you.

Following your initial assessment, we check in with you the
next day. This gives you an opportunity to discuss how you
are feeling, raise any questions and stay connected as your
results are reviewed.

03

Second Session

Your results. Your plan.

Jack takes you through the findings from your assessment,
explains what they mean and presents the recommended
High Performance program. You will also receive a printed
report containing your results and relevant information.

04

Ongoing Program

Put the plan into action.

From your second session, you move into a structured
performance program with Rob and/or Kate. The frequency,
session structure and progression are determined by your
assessment findings, goals and individual needs.

Your Program

Work on what your body actually needs.

Your program is built from your assessment findings rather than
a generic template.

Strength

Targeted strength work based on identified areas of need
and your individual goals.

Mobility

Improve movement where reduced mobility may be limiting
your physical performance.

Stability

Develop greater control and stability through relevant
joints and movement patterns.

Conditioning

Build the physical capacity required for your work,
lifestyle, training or sporting goals.

The High Performance Approach

We don’t guess.
We assess.

We establish where you are, understand where you want to go and
build a program around the gap between the two.

The goal is a more efficient, measurable and individual approach
to your physical health and performance — without wasting your time
on work that doesn’t move you closer to your goals.

Start With Your Assessment

Find out what your body is capable of.

Your High Performance journey starts with a comprehensive
assessment, objective testing and a clear understanding of your
individual goals.
