Previously we discussed the use of wearable step counters and if completing 10000 steps per day is acceptable for all of our patients. Today we determine which of these questions are relevant to you, our patients.

Live Active’s Key Questions to Answer Before Increasing Your Exercise:

  • Do you ever feel faint or have spells of dizziness during physical activity/exercise that causes you to lose balance?
The Live Active team will assess your balance and proprioception, to determine if your balance is of concern before beginning an exercise program.
  • Do you have any diagnosed muscle, bone or joint problems that you have been told could be made worse by participating in physical activity/exercise?
We can also assess your functional movement and previous injuries, to determine the safest exercise for you to perform.

The team at Live Active will assess your biomechanics and help answer these questions as part of your Initial Consult. A personalised treatment and exercise plan will then be created, tailored to your health and ensuring you are achieving your goals safely.
